Did Jesus go to Japan ?

36 posts in this topic

Some believe that during the 'lost years' of his life Jesus traveled the world and spent time in Japan.

This is such nonsense, if that were true, I doubt people of his own viliage would have thought his knowledge was unusual.

There are many belief systems, especially when it comes to the most popular religions such as Christianity. Some believe Jesus went to India, some to Tibet, some to America, etc. I just heard of one that believes of Adam, Noah, and John The Baptists, but not Abraham, Moses, or Jesus (Mandaeism)

What almost no one on earth save a few of us know is that the JAPANESE people are from the half of the TRIBE of MANASSA which split from MOSES and the HOUSE of ISRAEL in their wanderings. Jesus was an emplyee of his UNCLE JOSEPH of Arimethea who buried him in his OWN TOMB. He was known as the No.1 procurrator to the Roman Empire which means his fleet of ships travelled the world aquiring raw materials and natural resources for the economy of ROME. He was a very rich and influential person for a non Roman citizen. Jesus may very well have been to JAPAN,but it was surely not to study theology or get his spiritual training, but rather to commune with members of the tribe of Manassa. This story casts doubt on his trial and crucifiction and resurrection, making it look like Jesus fled from his main mission in his life to return a coward to Japan and die there. I would not put much stock in most of this story.

Was this trip to Japan before or after his visit to Britain with Uncle Joseph, or was all part of a Thompson's package tour?

Any chance that perhaps the only reason people think Jesus went to Japan is because, like the Jesus myth itself it's a story that has some of the same 'plot' elements and that we cannot prove it true or false? There are parallels in a myths and legends over the world, I wouldn't be surprised if one story from a religion is slightly the same as another, it happens. A lot of the major religions of the world have a 'central character/savior': Zoroaster Vishnu, Mohammed Jesus, Moses etc. They can't all be right and one can only speculate on the details because a holy book is a bad historical document, even more so if it contains things that suspend disbelief and our natural physical laws that we wouldn't believe if some random guy came up to you and told; for example that he could make the sun spin or separate salt water from pure water by metaphysical ways and means, that takes faith; there are no facts to supports miraculous claims, just the same as there is no support for the Kung-Fu Jesus myth.

The stuff in the bible,is about as credible as any of this. Unless you were hanging out with the guy, where ever he was ,no one can say cor sure ,now can they .

Pictures ,or it didn't happen .

That being said, the Japanese are not known for fabricating tall tales for notoriety .

If that were the case, this tomb would be in Tokyo ,and easily accessible to tourists .

Funny how some people know it all ... as if they had a time machine or something As far as I'm concern he could have die in someone backyard without anyone knowing for sure... after all if he existed and survived the cross he would have been on the Roman's most wanted list and he would have fled as far away as possible.
