Bike eating trees

8 posts in this topic

Let these images serve as a warning to anyone who leaves their bike parked up against a tree for too long.

Not only is there a good chance it will go rusty, but it may also get eaten by the tree.

A red child's bike growing through the middle of a tree and suspended off the ground on Vashton Island, Washington, is one such example of this phenomenon.

I seen some trees eating fences and stuff but never bikes.

I remember me and my mate put a bike up against a tree to climb up it and when we got near the top some **** called up 'thanks for the bike' and stole it. Sounds funny now but it was annoying at the time...

I have been reading too many Peirs Anthony books. My first thought was of a tangler putting a bike in it's mouth.
