A place to promote actors and actresses who perform great roles. Share a scene with us if you can or just describe it.

I really love the part in Angel where Romola Garai tells her class one day she will be famous. God she had so much heart in that movie.

Don't forget to share a scene with us or if you can't describe it.

If you really believe their performance was impressionable througout a film it should not be hard to share with us a scene memorable to you. Only that will make this thread interesting and not another thread to list things...

We may or may not have seen a movie, we might agree we like that movie too, but if there is a scene to think about and if we have not watched it, it just might make us want to.

Rain Man - the 'Casino' scene when he starts to win.

Samantha Morton - her range of facial expressions the moment when she realises her treason has been discovered.

Bruno Granz - his outburst when told his 6th.Army only exists in his mind!

Ahh John Hurt in the Elephant Man is brilliant.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe!

Rutger Hauer is on fire all the way through this film, but this is just the icing on the cake, and one of the best lines in any movie ever. Probably.

That "tears in rain" line was all Ruter Hauer.... he made that up himself.

My immediate thoughts have to be Ian Richardson in the final scenes of Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy and Nigel Hawthorne in The Madness of King George, particularly his nighttime scene with Helen Mirren when she asks, "do you think that you are mad?". Two perfect performances.

Just an edited clip from the Dick Cavet interview of Marlon Brando from Youtube. "Marlon Brando demonstrates what the word "acting" means."
