Could a fat transplant combat obesity?

Still Waters

Recommended Posts

From liposuction to stomach stapling, most methods of weight loss surgery involve removing fat - or at least making an area smaller.

Now, scientists have discovered that transplanting fat could be another key to weight loss.

It sounds counter-intuitive, but it's thought adding the right type of fat to the body could speed up calorie burning and improve conditions such as diabetes.

The theory is that there are two types of fat in the body. One is the much-dreaded white fat, which sits under the skin and gives us that beer belly or wobbly thighs. It's caused by eating too much.

It may be easier if people just started eating healthier foods. But where would that leave the Frankensteins and their labs today?

Obesity is the epidemic of the ignorant and lazy sorry if any get offended [people with health disorders excluded],but its the truth!Get off your butt and excercise, eat healthy foods, eat portions that fuel the body not eat till your full!Cant stand when im in line at a store listening to some fat woman in front of me talking to her friend saying im trying to lose weight its just so hard. Then the woman pulls out her food stamp card to pay for her 3 or 4 cases of sugary drinks,2 loaves of white bread, bags of candy, chips, whole milk, and whatever else she could find to stuff her disgusting face with!Had this happen yesterday and saw this topic just decided to share lol

A common problem is also the foods people perceive as healthy not being healthy.

Breakfast cereals, white bread, brown bread, pasta and rice all contain lots of complex carbohydrates. This makes your insulin levels rocket making your body store the calories eaten and the calories to be eaten for hours afterwards as fat. Brown bread is worse than white bread for high insulin levels. The salad trays with pasta in them sold at supermarkets are worse than a normal meal.

Diet soda and other foods containing artifical sweeteners make your insulin levels rocket. Not because of sugar but because your brain cant tell the difference between sugar and artifical sweeteners. It takes hours for your body to break down artificial sweeteners too so your insulin levels stay high all day long.

The best diet for weight loss is whole milk, cheese, lean protein, fruit and vegetables. Whole milk has far less calories in it than people expect and is high in the type of nutrients which prevent weight gain. Cheese is even better. For people that dont know B vitamins, vitamin D and calcium make your body burn more calories. Phosphates in the diary also stop fat being absorbed by your intestines.

Correct mr right wing, insulin is the main problem most do not understand and trying to explain it to most is almost impossible. The only carbs i eat come from from fruits and vegetables, and honey mixed with whey protien immediately after training for the insulin spike to repair tissue damage. The body is a machine food is only needed for fuel, and i wont get started on diet drinks lol
