No one needs 10 bullets to kill a deer

The size of the magazine has nothing on the speed of which a magazine can be changed. It hardly is an argument. A magazine can be changed in less then the amount of time you will get near a determined shooter.

And the fact that an air rifle can take out a pig is relevant, especially in that video, as the guy killed it with 1 shot.

Anybody who needs ten to do the same thing should get indicted under cruelty to animal laws.

Edit, wrong word

lol, you still don't get it do you?? what if you hit it and it wont die, but gets hurt\angry, and comes at you.

See, and now we have somebody who pretends he knows something not knowing what he is talking about. First rule of ballistics: " The impact power is composed of the product of the bullet speed and weight". An AR with its muzzle velocity of over 2000 feet and a caliber 2/3 to that Ranger will on any day beat it in impact strength and penetration given the fact that the Ranger has a velocity of less than 700 feet.

And the fact that an air rifle can take out a pig is relevant, especially in that video, as the guy killed it with 1 shot.

What about if there were 11 pigs? or 15? Then maybe a high capacity magazine would have a use in pest control?

Well I would like to see the place where 11 pigs are put up for pest control shooting and 40 hunters don't show up. But yes, that might be a possibility.

Then you shoot again, and if you don't hit it then, given the velocity of an average boar of 35-40 Mph you are screwed anyway. Ten shots don't help you either.

So the government do not believe in god?

That's the word of some.

What about those who believe in god but don't believe in violence ?

What about them? Saying those that believe in GOD don't believe in violence is barking up the wrong tree. All religions are violent. History proves that.

Not everyone who believes in god will be ready to shout out - VIOLENCE IS THE ANSWER, PRAISE JESUS ..

Jesus isn't about non violence. He's concerned with our Spirit. Custer didn't listen when the Native Americans told him not to disrespect them and the squaws took sticks and ran holes through his ear drums so that he could hear in the afterlife. The Declaration of Independence said that violence was that last resort and that was the answer that worked. When government becomes unresponsive and tyrannical as it has now, it is the duty of the people to replace it.

I agree that people with guns should never be stripped of their rights, and should take a stand against their government if they are pushed to the brink.. But this talk about those who believe in god are a threat, is nonsensical

That's the stance of government. Or more precisely, that was a report issued by DHS in 2009 and Napolitano approved it. Then she tried to backpedal. That's what this administration thinks. If that's the case, then I say, so be it! But the people that this Administration needs to fear are those that believe in the Constitution.

The bit that gets me is - If you believe in god you're a thereat . What a load of codswallop... Lets use as much violence as we can because the lord Jesus preached it is the only answer.. That sounds so clever, its a stone throw away from being like the WBC or worse

The first part, I agree but you are not catching the subtlety here. It's not that people believe in Jesus. It's that the government fears those that believe in Jesus. I believe that is probably because those that believe in Jesus, also believes in the Constitution to the letter and that is a threat to what this Administration is trying to do to usurp it. That's the issue. Believing in Jesus is just a red herring.

This has nothing to do with god, it has a lot to do with people looking to stand up for their rights against a government that may take away their rights... <--- That is all I can see is fair...

Bingo!

Absolutely correct to how I feel as well. Even the codswallop part.

I believe Ravenhawk is saying God is on our side.

Not really but I would think that he would be anyway. Where GOD stands has nothing to do with this. It's another distraction by the government, hiding what they are really trying to do.

God is on the side of those that wish to stay away from hard violence too .. .

I don't think that is the case. This is a violent world. That's the way it was designed. Everyone confronts violence at least once in their lives. At that point, you either face it or run away. Those that face it are more than likely putting their faith in GOD and dealing with it.

Here's another angle: God isn't in my life at all, when I stand my ground, it's out of principle; not because of or have anything to do with any imaginary figure(s).

I am inclined to fall into the belief that if we all stood up for ourselves, you would have less people trying to victimize one another, because they would be met with resistance.

A must see video about clip size and what a 10 clip vs a 30 clip means in real life.

I have seen that clip before. I wish she had her gun. Even if she hit a bystander as well as the shooter, it would have put an end to the shooting. Logic doesn't affect the Socialist ruling elite as could be seen. They are so disconnected from the people. But she was right about what the purpose of the 2nd was and they don't like it.

People don't understand or are caught up in the hype, that at close ranges such as Aurora or Sandy Hook, automatic rifles with HCCs are a waste of ammo. What you want is either semi-auto or single shot so that you can take your time to aim to hit your target. And the difference between a 30 round clip verses 3 - 10 round clips is just a matter of seconds. The same amount of time to select a target.

That isn't the point. The point is they told you what you could and could not own with regards to what you already owned. I call that a loss of freedom. Besides all that...was it in your Constitution that had been bled and died over for 2 centuries that from the beginning the Founders of your country wrote into it...the right to bear arms shall not be infringed?

See, you just saw it as something you had to do. There are in fact an incredible number of Americans who will go to war...actual literal combat with the government...and will die and kill over the 'infringement' you are talking about.

Well if you are prepard to kill your fellow Americans over your " right " to own a machine gun , who am I to try to stop you ?

I can't wait to see how effective your machine guns are against a stealth bomber , that's what you are talking about right ? you will take on the government if they try to take your "machine" guns away? .

Tell me how its going to work , some states will go rogue and take out Washington ? Whack the president ?

What do you think this will do to your country as a whole if infact this is the scenario ? What will happen to your already in trouble economy ?

TiP.

You are a very short sighted individual, and I am glad that you are not a citizen of this country. If our founding fathers had your vision, we would still care what the monarchs of England are doing. The great military went against Vietnam, and lost. They currently still have trouble with unorganized terrorist groups. So with that said, in our own backyard.... Yeah, we still have a chance.

You didn't even factor in the defectors of the military in the case of a civil war. Plus, don't underestimate some of the 'toys' people have.

I don't know why everybody keeps on comparing apples with pears here. If I were a former Vietcong fighter I would feel offended to be compared with an average overweight and short of breath American gun owner that tries to play Django taking on the government in a totally uncoordinated fashion. I know, I know, founding fathers, continental army and all that, but show me one of them grossly overweight and incapable of climbing ten flights of stairs without turning blue in the face.

Guys, take a look in the mirror before trying to act like Pancho Villa.

My question is: How many round does it take to kill the bear that wants you and the deer for dinner? Dragging a fresh kill leaves a blood trail for the bears to follow, if they don't show up right away after the sound of the round.

My answer: Hunting rifles should have a maximum 15 round clip, and handguns should have a maximum 9 round clip. Perhaps cities could have their own maximums, since many cities never see bears?

Peace,

Ok, I just got done taking a look in the mirror. Weird, I'm not grossly overweight, and I can climb 10+ flights of stairs without turning blue in the face.

Funny how stereotypes are unacceptable until one thinks it helps prove their point. Even more funny, it wasn't true.

Unless you can provide a link or fact that says the constitution specifically the 2nd Amendment is not there to protect us from foreign invaders and a Tyrranical government if necessary by the use of force.

show me in the text of the constitution where it says any of that.

Instead of being a complete retard and trying ( not very well ) to insult me , why not answer some of my questions ?

What is going to happen to your country if indeed it turns to civil war ?

Where does that leave you on the world stage ?

What will happen to your economy ?

Tip.

1) I don't know, and neither do you

2) I don't know, and neither do you

3) I don't know, and neither do you

The difference between you and I? I don't claim to know, and despite how big the bully is, I'm not one who gets scared and surrenders.

So, as you like to call someone to come protect you, I prefer not to rely on others.

That's the word of some.

Idiots? Yea I agree..

Saying those that believe in GOD don't believe in violence is barking up the wrong tree. All religions are violent. History proves that.

How ironic. That comes from the religion that preaches peace and forgiveness lol . Those believers in god that don't like violence, because they believe in other answers, are wrong and just not doing it right.. Fred Phelps would say the exact same I'll bet ...IF you are not willing to be violent, then you are not a member of our "MORAL" high ground club..We invented morals, now shut up and get slaughtering, we need to have it all our way AMEN

Jesus isn't about non violence.

Go on then, you copy and paste something from the NT that shows Jesus telling people - The best way to get what you want, is to kill people .. Use as much violence as thy can .. I want to see where Jesus has in fact told people to use violence. to get their way?.....Turn the other cheek actually means - Turn the other cheek so I can slap it too !!

It's that the government fears those that believe in Jesus. I believe that is probably because those that believe in Jesus, also believes in the Constitution to the letter and that is a threat to what this Administration is trying to do to usurp it. That's the issue. Believing in Jesus is just a red herring.

So those who also wish to take a stand against the same government and are gun owners who DON'T believe in your Jesus, are not really much of a threat?

Bingo!

You post up - Bingo, right under my quote that said - It has nothing to do with god it's to do with the people.. And you were the one bringing god into this thread thinking god has something to do with it.

Where GOD stands has nothing to do with this.

I know but you brought god into this anyway.. !!!

I don't think that is the case. This is a violent world. That's the way it was designed.

Why would god design it to be violent?

Those that face it are more than likely putting their faith in GOD and dealing with it.

So, those who don't believe in god, but face it and deal with it, are stronger people? I see, well I guess they are.. Because according to you, only those that face it are likely to be putting their faith into god, so obviously they need a crutch, something to guide them, and most of them wound up hurt and killed over time.. The millions and millions of Christians over time, who have faced it and lost, millions and millions of which were killed, must of put their faith in god ..but it failed..

I find it ironic that you complained about an insult in a previous post (one that wasn't to be found).

Also, if you were educated in what actually does happen across the pond, you would know every day citizens don't own machine guns.
