Gun Control Advocates Practice Hypocrisy ?

So you do view different opinions as a threat then? And believe it gives you the right to invade the privacy of others?

It probably gives it the right to b**** about the evil "gubmint" invading privacy of law abiding gun owners who vote Republican and are a good, "honest" (non-kiddy-fiddling) Christians.

Slavery was still very much alive, and in some places even expanding, in the northern colonies of British North America in the generation before the American Revolution. The spirit of liberty in 1776 and the rhetoric of rebellion against tyranny made many Americans conscious of the hypocrisy of claiming natural human rights for themselves, while at the same time denying them to Africans. Nonetheless, most of the newly free states managed to postpone dealing with the issue of slavery, citing the emergency of the war with Britain.

Im not American so I dont know what hypocrisy is?

Conversely, you live in America so I do expect you to not know the definition of "hypocrisy".

I just finished the post there was some citing that needed to be done to show that hypocrisy has been alive in America since its inception and not a new phenemona Stellar. My apologies if you have to reread my drivel.

It's interesting and very sad how Bitebart twisted a law that affects LEGAL immigrants to ILLEGAL immigrants. And what would you care? Aren't you all for having everyone armed? You're accusing hypocrisy but have it yourself. You want everyone WHITE armed against the NON-Whites who are out to get you, right?

So while multigenerational American families are being turned into criminals by this idiots ideas he turns around and has the balls to say..and I quote:

In June, Holder’s DOJ proposed to eliminate that 90-day residency requirement rule.

Not even here 90 days is cool. Go eat some more Socialist propaganda ND and come back later and try again.

And yet you post in threads discussing matters outside of your own country with no sense of irony or hypocrisy. Amusing, to say the least.

Also, "Slavenorth"? Oh yes, very objective. Can't wait for the south to rise again?

You dont like it when people talk about whaling...well I dont like it when people talk about American politics unless they have a fundamental understanding and BRING something to the converstaion besides drivel and uneducated opinions. Whaling happens to be a world issue if we can agree on that youll find me much more reasonable on the subject.

I appreciate that you read the article that the North were slave holders up until a few years before the first civil war. As this is a topic about hypocrisy. By the way the British called the Revolutionary war a civil war. so perhaps it was truly the 2nd civil war but history is usually written by the victor anyways.

I think that about it covers it.

I bring a fundamental understanding of what the word hypocrisy means. As such, I feel fully qualified to speak on the topic of gun control advocates practicing hypocracy.

It doesn't look to me like sanity is likely to come to the States on this anytime soon; the best that will happen are a few tweaks in the law here and there but the guns will stay. I suppose it would be like trying to re-enact prohibition.

I'm glad I live in a country where people just simply do not have guns. I don't know for sure how they achieve it, but the criminal classes here, which do exist, although not like in the states, don't have guns either.

But that won't happen in the States. The mentality of social civility that it would require is just not there, so I guess the deaths will continue and the country will more and more have to build security fences and hire guards to protect the people from themselves.

Disrespecting and insulting people is not an intelligent move. You are clearly speaking out of your backside.

I am seriously disturbed by the American fanaticism for guns. It is irrational and doing the country great harm in so many ways. We just saw a clear demonstration of their inability to think straight about it.

First link is the small town I'm from, where I'm guessing there's roughly 80 percent of the households have some kind of gun, mostly long guns and shotguns.

Second link is Phoenix, AZ, which is one of the U.S.'s biggest cities, along with Chicago and New York. Phoenix has no law against carrying a firearm; as long as the weapon is legal, and the person carrying it is not a felon, a gun can be carried anywhere unless private property dictates otherwise. On the other hand, Chicago and New York don't allow hand guns at all.

Which city would all of you visitors rather live if you lived here?

Your response has nothing rational in it to change my mind, just a lot of false statements about my country. One thing I would say is that I feel perfectly safe to walk anywhere in Ho Chi Minh City at any hour of the night. Odds are a patroller will ask me for my ID if I am not known to him. Good for him.

Very few Asian or European countries allow guns the way you have in America. They are seen as the equivalent of allowing bombs and deadly poisons.

I don't like to edit posts, or I would just include this with the previous one.

Even in Newtown, doesn't look like they had a crime problem either. Just one loose screw able to roam in a gun free zone, causing knee jerk emotional responses all across the globe.

To each his own. We prefer to have the option of arming ourselves.

lol, but they are not equivalent, to bombs and deadly poisons, the fact that you see it as such, tells me one thing. lmao

if you can't see things for what they are, i don't care one bit what you see, and what you think of MY country that you pbly never been to.

actually all the statments i made about your country are facts, you can google it, but i suspect you will still deny, cuz your country is doing the right things and america is doing everything wrong. lol.

have seen many vietnamise come to usa, legal and not, never heard of many if at all, wanting to come to vietnam for better future. so spare us your wisdoms.

I've been laying low for a while but this kind of speak isn't what I'm used to hearing from you. Thought you were reasonable but it seems that you're just another outsider who thinks he knows best.

Think how you like. That's ok. Just remember that America is exceptional. We stand out from the crowd for a reason. People, including our president, who keep telling us we need to be like the rest of the world can either stay where they are or go live in the rest of the world. Those who appreciate American will stay here and fight for its exceptionalism against those who think we need to change. We made one huge change 236 years ago. If we hadn't we'd already be just like the rest of the world. We aren't reverting.

Us people and our "fanaticism" with guns is a choice. Some have them some dont. Thats why we call it a choice. Now we as the People do not interfere in other countries affairs.

Dont blame our Freedoms and think were bad because our Govmnt acts irresponsible without our blessing.
