UM redirecting pages

5 posts in this topic

I have been getting a lot of UM page redirecting activity here on the forums, the first few times of 'allowed' and nothing happened, I just ignored the block but now it's beginning to get on me nerves.

Anyone else experiencing this ? I browse with the Fox of Fire/mozilla 19 , dang puter been through so much update makeovers I dont recognise it anymore.

Is this UM or is it my proggies ?

What page(s) are prompting you to redirect and to where ?

I don't remember which pages exactly but its random, usually first few minutes after log on.

It doesn't redirect anywhere, when the block pop up is 'allowed' it just refreshes the page I'm reading, which is why I kinda end up ignoring them. It does stop after awhile but being random I have no idea if its UM redirects or the ads redirects.

I guess its just my puter huh ?

I'll just do a malware/hijack scan and get back to you boss man. Thanks

~addendum : firefox prevented this page from redirecting too by the way.

Yeah it might be best to check to see if there's anything on your machine generating these redirect popups.

We don't have anything that should be doing that on here.

Actually I did a full scan just last weekend, all clear report with all the latest patches and updates, all thumbs up and full stars

Which is also why the pop up blocker was getting on my nerves, on top of that, it doesn't redirect at all when 'allowed', just refreshes the page.

Nothing serious I don't believe, just a bit annoying :D
