gentle

the gentle lover evicts sleep,

for dreams, they steal from him her presence,

her breath conjures earthy apple blossoms,

on the sweetest summer wind,

there is a glowing, over the sky,

as if the sun fell into a bottle,

a petal, stranded on a withered rose,

dangling a speckle of hardened red,

so deep

that they see through each others' eyes

so in one

their heart beats each only, for one another

the gently loved, half asleep,

for dream and wakefulness is unveiled,

his heart thunders in her ears,

churns a shuddering sigh of passion,

do not pursue,

from where you know not from,

the world might end, while you are away

do not chase,

what you know not where they go,

you might have left heaven, behind,

the gentleness of tangled fingers,

together, gentle and gently,

received each other ...

I love how the sun falls into a bottle, a speckle of hardened red is also nice. ;)
