Oh no, those of us who are native to the PNW know there's a big one that's going to happen at some point... we just don't know when of course. I've been through several quakes in the PNW, we don't forget about them. We're constantly reminded up here about the extreme danger of an 8+ quake.

I've been through several quakes... they're pretty impressive!

I live in seattle and they warn us at least once a year about this earthquake being over due.( they talk about itroughly every twelve months) there is nothing i can do about it except make sure that I have enough food and water. where i am sitting the wave would need to be 250 feet tall when it hits shore before i need to worry, , land slides and downed trees and wires and houses falling on me are another matter. if i worry about it before it happens i will give myself another ulcer, I have a weeks food two weeks water and a generator. i will worry when it hits.
