Too much like a spider for my liking... :unsure2:

I'd like to see it in size comparison to an average Alaskan crab. I need to know if I have a pot big enough to put them in.

Okay Biff... breakout the pots. I found an article which states these crabs are 1 metre in length (3.28 feet) and the largest of the Alaskan king crabs, the red king crab, is 5.9 feet. Does that help? :P

There are several species of commercially harvested crab in the arctic; king, snow, golden and probably others. It's not a stretch that there would be species found in antarctic waters, I fail to see the big deal unless this is an introduced species.

If you think that look like a creep creature

... that is terrifying...

If you thought that was a creepy creature you really should have a look at this sea-lice, the Isopod.

It makes you wanna throw up and scratch yourself all over at the same time. Imagine a bunch of those crawling along in your bed when you wake up.
