Arcana Posted March 20, 2013 #1 Share Posted March 20, 2013 (edited) My Healing Angel Once I felt forsaken, so I sent out a prayer Delivered to the universe, with tender loving care I asked to be healed and true love sent my way So I may find a peace, that haunts me every day I waited for a while, but nothing came my way Was anybody listening, or on their holiday? It happened in an instant, a voice was sent to me One that brought a smile of familiarity My prayer had been heard and an angel sent to fly Through those brooding clouds, that frame a stormy sky Blazing trails of light, that calm and clear the view Glinting with a love, that makes the sky shine blue I'd heard the voice before, somewhere I'm unsure Echoes of something, my heart was yearning for One had been sent, to help me to believe Come to set me free, from all who would deceive One who I can trust, who listens and always shares One who offers comfort, who loves and always cares One who heals my heart and leads me by the hand Past all my yesterdays, towards the promised land My very own healing angel, who wraps me in her wings She echoes through my heart and pulls upon it's strings The universe was smiling, I showed my gratitude I'd finally found a peace, that hope seemed to elude Now I'm filled with joy, my belief has been restored I'm following the signs, that refuse to be ignored The Heavens are bathed in love, just waiting to be found I'd sent out a prayer, that was heard from higher ground I'm guided by my spirit, that longs to be set free I'm shown a higher purpose, if only I look to see My healing angel's flight is more graceful than a dove She circles overhead and is sent to me with love © Arcana Edited March 20, 2013 by Arcana 5 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The previous poem was about a search for a twin flame, whereas this one is about being healed after finding 'the one'.....so yes, you are quite right to point out the similarities my friend.
