Eldorado Posted April 2, 2013 #1 Share Posted April 2, 2013 "A drunk man found himself dangling nine metres (30ft) above the ground from high-tension cables after climbing up a utility pole in China. The man moved along the cables for 15 minutes - unaware of the danger - while one firefighter climbed up the pole to persuade him to get down." Video & Story: http://news.sky.com/story/1072738/china-drunk-man-dangles-from-power-cables Shocking behaviour. No wonder us alcoholics get a bad name.

Ashotep Posted April 2, 2013 #5 Share Posted April 2, 2013 When your drunk nothing seems too risky. Wonder he didn't fall or electrocute himself.

jules99 Posted April 3, 2013 #7 Share Posted April 3, 2013 AFAIK you only have to arc one cable to another to get electrocuted, Ive seen fruit bats and larger birds cooked on power lines, you dont want two wires to touch .....this guy was so very, very lucky
