Still looks kind of rubbery but definitely a major step forward.

They should focus less on graphics and more on fixing bugs and glitches.

Incredible! I agree the mouth doesn't look right when open; looks to black void like. Just imagine al the hoaxes in the future. Political opponents destroyed for being with "ladies of the evening".... see I have video to prove it!

It's cool but video games are years away from this.

Maybe the ps5 can do it.

glad activision did something with all that money got from all the idiots who repeatedly bought the same game year after year

Why idiots? And why suggest what they've done with their money previously was less than adequate?

Edit:

Ha! We can only hope!

The amount of time and money that goes into big games now is staggering.

The only way I can see video and computer games being profitable ongoing is (patent pending).

Edit 2: For example; is nice to see progression from OutRun (1986) to today's most advanced racers! Is sad when predictions of rate of change of technology are low, however we seem to have overcome every obstacle so far and continue to progress at good speed. (Eg. initial predictions of never having a gigabyte or terabyte hard drive, now people have conceived petabyte drives)

Computer generated characters almost indistinguishable from real people are currently in development.

Omg it's almost life like, there's still a bit of imperfections like you couldn't see the pallet in the mouth and other little things. Besides that, it's almost real. I wanna see them make the next Lara Croft. :D

The question really is how can this be used enough to pay for it. I'm fairly sure Marylin Monroe and Clark Gable will become boring very quickly and porn actors doing things impossible in real life will become a joke.

What else? Virtual reality suggests itself -- you can design your avatar to be very realistic and at the same time pretty much any monster you can dream up. I suppose teenage boys will like that for awhile. I wouldn't mind being Harry Potter on occasion, but I suspect the rights to that one will be costly.

In a world where everyone knows anything can be facked, there will not be much profit in making fakes.

If I were an actor of any sort, I would be a little worried, since having actors that follow stage direction to the letter and don't have their own ideas and their own power is every director's dream. Of course directors may not be all that needed in future either.

What will the Academy Awards look like?
