Bendy Demon Posted May 6, 2014 #501 Share Posted May 6, 2014 Because I am not stupid. Intelligence has nothing to do with it for even a prodigy can be wrong too. Still..to insist that schizophrenia is a spiritual thing is SO wrong when it has been shown over and over again that it is a mental disorder. Also..this god of yours does not sound loving if it uses terror tactics, threats and bullying to gain followers.

Also..this god of yours does not sound loving if it uses terror tactics, threats and bullying to gain followers. Intelligence has everything to do with understanding schizophrenia. I never said that it is not a mental disorder. The devils are so evil and lie and deceive so well that they are known to drive people mad, insane or psychotic. The mere believing what they say can make a person delusional. They have most of the mental health industry in America deceived. The devils can turn a person against their families and make them violent. It is the devils that do the harm and this is a consequence of a person's sin. It is the sinner's fault...God is not to blame... a mature person can understand this. Edited May 6, 2014 by notforgotten
notforgotten Posted May 6, 2014 Author #503 Share Posted May 6, 2014 (edited) Also..this god of yours does not sound loving if it uses terror tactics, threats and bullying to gain followers. You would not say that your parents weren't very loving when they had to punish you for something you did as a child. God does not want to punish man. God wants man to be with Him, that is why He sent His Son to Die for our sins. God loves us so much, that of all the creatures in the world, God created the angels and man just to be with Him...now that's love! Without God, you could become an unwanted evil schizophrenic voice in someone's head. Edited May 6, 2014 by notforgotten
Arbenol Posted May 6, 2014 #504 Share Posted May 6, 2014 No, I've seen the truth for myself. Schizophrenia does not really exist. The state or condition is temporal punishment by God/Jesus through the Holy Spirit. It is an unhealthy attachment to creatures as a consequence of sin. It should be seen as a call to grace, to accept God's most loving offer to be an child of His through His Son Christ Jesus. Please note that schizophrenia is not God's fault, but the sinner's fault for their sin. So, what's the best cure for this temporal punishment? Bendy Demon Posted May 6, 2014 #505 Share Posted May 6, 2014 (edited) You would not say that your parents weren't very loving when they had to punish you for something you did as a child. My parents didn't send an "evil" spirit into my life or send a hitman after me in order to manipulate me nor did they terrorize or bully me. God loves us so much, that of all the creatures in the world, God created the angels and man just to be with Him...now that's love! Really now. Throwing a violent temper tantrum and murdering every living thing on the earth (according to your book of parables) is "love"? Without God, you could become an unwanted evil schizophrenic voice in someone's head. Ah..here we go now. What this really means this that anyone who disagrees or has an opposing point of view or doesn't believe on command is "evil" or whatever the popular phrase is these days. Heh..whatever. notforgotten Posted May 6, 2014 Author #506 Share Posted May 6, 2014 (edited) So, what's the best cure for this temporal punishment? There is no known "cure" for schizophrenia. Although schizophrenia does go away with some people. The obvious direction that person should head in would be to stop abusing drugs, drinking alcohol, drinking coffee and smoking cigarettes. They should diet, exercise, get as healthy as possible and take medication if it helps. In a short period of time they should notice a definite decrease in symptoms and over a longer period of time maybe even a cessation of symptoms all together. notforgotten Posted May 6, 2014 Author #507 Share Posted May 6, 2014 Artist rendition of a gathering of evil spirits. Although many evil spirits may not look this ugly. Their behavior may look as ugly as this. They are psychopaths and have anger and hatred in their hearts. Their job is to do evil to the "schizophrenic". Stellar Posted May 6, 2014 #508 Share Posted May 6, 2014 Because I am not stupid. The glory goes to Father God through His Son Christ Jesus for the ultimate deliverance from this attachment to the devil. Ultimately, the Christian will be a good spirit in heaven with God and not be shackled to the Evil One. My wife, who is now looking over my shoulders says that she agrees with this statement. But how do you know you are not mistaken in any way? People make mistakes. People misinterpret the cause of things. What makes you special? What makes you different?
E. L. Wisty Posted May 7, 2014 #509 Share Posted May 7, 2014 May I ask notforgotten a straight question? Have you been diagnosed by a qualified doctor as a schizophrenic? And do you choose to reject that diagnosis because you feel that if you accepted it, your religious experiences would be less valid? I am not attacking your religion, or suggesting that you are in any way lying. I am simply asking whether or not you have yourself been diagnosed by a member of the medical profession as suffering from the illness you are so keen to deny the existence of. Most people would know that when a person says that their reflection in the mirror is their clone that they would be joking. What is wrong with you? I believe that the doppel-gangler is the spirit-double of a human cloned by aliens. Does anyone have a better explanation as to where the doppel-gangler comes from? Actually no it's quite simple. You are unable to comprehend mental illness, so you make up uneducated BS to confirm your superstitious beliefs.Try educating yourself before diagnosing mental illness. Frank Merton Posted May 7, 2014 #522 Share Posted May 7, 2014 Please don't tarnish the name of science by assuming psychology is even based on it. Just read some Sigmund Fraud, what a complete load of unscientific crap. Freud is respected for the fact that he approached the subject objectively and did not resort to notions like demon possession. That his ideas were premature and, in fact, generally wrong, applies to much of nineteenth century science.

Frank Merton Posted May 7, 2014 #524 Share Posted May 7, 2014 Religion is a large part of the mental illness of many people, and I think the idea of "belief," as opposed to strong opinions, is a little insane. We all do various little nutty forms of talking to things we know won't hear us -- I've been known to curse a hammer royally until my thumb stops throbbing. I talk to the shrine of my parents, even though I know that if they exist they are long ago reborn. We talk to our pets something unendingly. I see talking to saints or Bodhisattvas or gods as similar.

The non-believer becomes an evil spirit, an enemy, the devil in the afterlife...it's not too complicated to understand. I've worked in psychiatry for close to25 years and, I hate to tell you this, but being or becoming Christian is no defence against schizophrenia. In fact, if anything, Christians are well over represented in the mentally ill. Just as they are in prisons. Although I'm sure you've already made up your mind and no amount of reason will turn you from your irrational belief. On the other hand, if this belief helps in your recovery then good for you. However, you really should keep it to yourself. You're likely to do more damage than good.
