There's no apparent link other than that one person posted the OP story and someone else in the same thread posted a creepy looking picture of what seems to me to be a medical training dummy. Do a Google image search for 'medical training dummy' and all sorts of weird looking plastic freaky things used for training doctors, nurses, paramedics, etc. come up.
