At first glance I thought it was an insulator, but the close up looks like a single disk out of the entire piece. I'll keep looking, but I suspect something like this. In high wind areas sometime things like this disc, or balls are attached the the lines to keep them from touching in high wind and arcing. I would like the watch the zoom happen, not just one distant picture and one zoomed picture, it is possible they are different pictures I think.

If you want to hear a really weird theory..

A very quick check would have shown you that was a faked composite image and complete hoax. Please don't spread that sort of stuff here.

Don't have time for a link right now, but if anyone needs the details, just ask.. back later

OP, you have a SEVERE case of pareidolia

Theres that old "pareidolia again " Where would we be without it ? Maybe Looking at Mars for Ancient Alien Structures or even Life ?

But then again its all about money ,Right? :tu:

The OP isn't trying to make money. I'm sure they're just a well-meaning hopeful. Wishing that there are signs of alien life left on our moon... So much so they will ignore common sense.

The REALLY SAD thing is, if I got some moon pics and spent about 2 hours on them, I could come up with MUCH BETTER things than the rubbish people keep posting about mars (or the moon in this case).

That always amazes me! Why can't the people falling for pareidolia see MUCH CLEARER things!
