RSPCA told family to put dead cats in freezer

3 posts in this topic

Hayley Jones, 39, found one of her pets, nine-year-old Kenny, dead in a neighbour's shed on Monday.

A short time later, her second cat, Bubble, was found shaking in a corner of the family's home in Ely in Cambridge.

He was rushed to the vet but also died, leaving Miss Jones to suspect they had been poisoned.

They contacted the RSPCA and claim they were advised to put the animals in the freezer to preserve any evidence until any further information arose or until a post mortem could be carried out.

Sounds reasonable (so long as the corpses are properly bagged to avoid any contamination to any food that might be in there)...

Yeah it's a bit creepy... but reasonable (IMO)...

I agree. I'd also advise against informing any dinner guests, now or in the future.
