Still Waters Posted May 14, 2013 #1 Share Posted May 14, 2013 The first US space station, Skylab, was launched forty years ago with a simple but far-reaching brief: expand man's knowledge of the Sun and prove that humans can live and work in space for extended periods. More people will start living in space when living in space becomes more profitable. It isn't so much a matter of funding as it is investing.
