Heres The Definition of one in case your wondering:

EXPERIMENTAL APPARITION: Although rare, these types of apparitional experiences are the result of a deliberate attempt on the part of a living person to make their apparition appear somewhere else. They are similar to an out of body experience (OBE) or astral projection and are generally induced when the person is in a deep sleep or trancelike state.

I misinterpreted the concept. I was thinking along the lines of a thoughtform/tulpa. The way the OP phrased the question is confusing to me. Does this mean that someone else experimentally projected themselves (or something) to her and is just hanging out?
