Smoking is 'good for your memory

11 posts in this topic

The bad out-weigh the good with cigarettes. In denial smokers will rally around this though, I'm sure.

I remember one saying: Cigarete was good as memory you had while smoking it.

I am a smoker myself, and trying to quit ( I'll get there yet ).. I fail somehow to see logic in this.. Lets say it is true? What good is your memory to you if you are laying up in a hospital bed with lung cancer?

I am trying to quit, I am not going to now think - Hold up a sec, my memory what will happen?

I am really cutting them down and soon out because of my fear of bad health..I don't want my kids to copy me either.. I wont smoke near them or in my home.. When I do rid them altogether, I doubt my memory would be effected. I most likely would look at lot healthier too.......At the moment, I am using patches, but man are those things itchy.. I keep scratching at them ..I am going to see if the spray works and give that a go...

Have you tried an e-cig?

I've heard of a couple of ppl who benefitted from it, because you can also dose the amount of nicotine and slowly build down so your body gets a chance to produce it's own form of nicotine again in the body. And you can still do the whole action of smoking, but once the nicotine is built down the action becomes less addictive in itself.

No, I've never tried an e cig before.. From reading your post, I hopped on over to the reviews site and look at site who sell them in the UK. They have trial offer kits for people just starting.. .I am going to take a couple of starter kits and see how they work..If I find one that tastes good and helps, I'm on my way to easy street !!........ When you are as desperate as I am wanting to kick the habit , you'll try anything.. I am still going for the spray too.
