A futuristic type of new train that aims to cut journey times in half has been tested in Japan.

The first successful tests have been carried out for Japan’s new generation of L0 trains, mag-lev bullet trains designed to travel at speeds of 311mph.

Expensive but worth the investment. Very cool technology.

There is a push for this in Australia. A maglev network up the East coast would be great but I don't think we'll see it anytime soon.

I feel that they should do more tests. Cos at that kind of speed once there is an accident its bound to be very severe...

If I recall, Phil Schneider had mentioned about this type of transportation which was already in use for years in most of those secretive underground bases. He wasn't lying after all--as some seem to presume.
