He has attacked the second amendment. He is attacking the fourth amendment. He is building a huge computer complex in utah. This complex is supposed to be so big the it can old ten years worth of internet activaty. I hope there aren't to many people on this site who thinks al that computing power is only to store electrionic communication. He also the government can do no wrong and it should be in charge of our lives. How muck money we can have, what to eat, what to buy, what to wear the list goes on. It is a sign that a majority of Americans now are more interested in what they can TAKE...not what they can earn. Some support him because they can find no work and they need to survive - others because they believe genuinely that the wealthy should provide for them whether they work or not. Obama didn't usher in the economic downturn he only was left to clean up the mess. In todays headlines we hear the US government is responsible for 1 million dollars worth of food stamps and other help in a single town for people working at Walmart. For the single reason they won't pay a living wage to the people who work there by giving individuals enough hours or paying them enough to live on. Not have cable, not a new shiny car but food on the table. The people on food stamps are not allowed to freeload, they have to show they are looking for work or are working. If you go to the food stamp website they clearly lineup all the rules and regulations that people have to follow when they are on the program and how they cannot stay on the program forever. As for Obama being a dictator, he was voted in twice so no. Given that some may not like the Orwellian turn the US has taken, look back a bit further to the Bush and the Patriot Act (and subsequent additions the years following 9/11) for where we are now. You may not like that Obama has the tools but you gave them to him gladly through Bush and told everyone that we needed to shut up about it because giving up freedom for safety we were securing our borders and making our "homeland security" stronger. I voted for Obama in part because he promised to get us out of Iraq & Afghanistan, because he was and is pro-choice, because he believes in healthcare for everyone, not just the wealthy. I worked for years at the Welfare Dept. and know from first-hand experience what can happen to a family when there's a catastrophic illness or injury. He repealed "don't ask, don't tell," increased support for our vets, who have been treated shamefully by Congress, supports stem cell research, and signed the Lily Ledbetter act,and is environmentally conscious. Want people off welfare? Pay them a living wage and give them benefits that many other workers enjoy. Or at least employ them for more than 30 hours a week. IMO, the taxpayers are subsidizing labor costs and health care for corporations, which allows big businesses to make a greater profit. And, hey, what about eliminating those corporate tax loopholes? I heard obama wants a third term. Hugo, of vensaula changed the rules o he could by reelected time after time. These programs the free stuff, the electronic listening, obama care are just stuff to control the population. Freedom I not free you have to watch keep it from slipping away. If you think it is bad that one walmart's employees require foodstamps. Just wait until january when all the companies that can fire or cutting ten hours a week. Thanks to obama care. And those who don't lose employment will lose company health care, because it will be cheaper to pay the fine. Then you will have to come up with your own health care or pay the fine too. So far obama care has hit us with twenty new taxes and it hasn't even taken full effect. Senerio: Two teams are playing each other at football. The games ends with the score 50-2. One of the teams got slaughtered. One team whooped their a$$. The evidence is in the score! No matter how many times a team gets whooped there is still fans who can not except the facts that the one they are rooting for are failures. Unfortunatly for the fans it is their ego that gets in the way of common sense. No matter what you tell these people you cannot change their minds, because they cannot except their own failure or defeat in choosing the losing team. People will support this idiot of a president until the nation crumbles around them. The first excuse of their failure is usally to blame the the other side for not playing fair! Well I hate to tell you princess, your team has lost and embarressed the sport for the last 5 years! When the unqualified Idiot finally completes this failing term it will be a new start. Unfortunatly a nation has to hit rock bottom before they can start to recover. Your president will have been in office for two complete terms and will have failed at all he promised. Blame the other team coach (Bush) for his failure, and you will still cheer on the losing team!
