Just what I thought before--the government lies and deceives as a routine practice.

I wasn't even alive in the late '30's, but I suspect that the feeling, with the storm clouds gathering over Europe, would have been similar to the feeling now, with storm clouds gathering in the Middle East. I think horrific times could be around the corner, though I hate to be a doom and gloom sayer.

Right now, those wacko groups that buy tons of property in Middle America nowhere, cut themselves off from the world, and become a completely self sufficient society unto themselves don't seem so wacko after all.

I started watching "Doomsday Preppers" recently and my thoughts were along those exact lines; "are they crazy or just ahead of the curve?"

(I read the byline under your user pic, by the way.)

Actually they're going back old school ... or how they way it use to be ... or some would even go as far as to say the way it ought to be.

Urban living has been more than harmful to many in more ways than one ... and cities are no place for kids to grow up in no matter how modern or advance the amenities are.

Just my personal opinion of course ... but I do know it is one that many share and many more are agreeing with.

I believe I know just where that is ... can I come along ? I need one last badge ...
