David Cameron has been warned he will not be able to block plans for a big pay rise for MPs, the BBC understands.

The Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority is expected to say backbench MPs' £66,000 salaries should increase to more than £70,000 from the election.

Prime Minister David Cameron has said such a plan would be "unthinkable".

Agreed, and then we remember what he said previously

'We're All In This Together'. hhmmm, so why haven't I had an un stoppable pay rise then?

And of course the Queen has had a rise too, like she needs it on top of her millions - and her pension...

look at the pay rises in the european parliament, our dear unelected president of the european union is on €320,000 a year. Each EU commissioner earns €19,909 euros a month. That's €238,908 euros a year ($298,635 per year). The High Representative gets a higher salary of €23,006 euros a month (276,072 euros a year or $345,090). its going on everywhere.

...lets add in all of the expenses that they are allowed to claim, the "2nd" residence allowance in London that they can claim, the "essential" need to visit other Nations (fully subsidised even if it is the Caribbean), the Secretarial Support (often as not a Family Member)... it goes on and on

House Of Lords To Get £100,000 New Toilets

a choice quote:

"However, the costs will not be helped by the fact that the work must comply with English Heritage requirements for Grade I listed buildings". It includes replacing "historic oak panelling", minor demolition work, new decorations and new sanitary equipment.

Looks like Bilderberg didn't work for poor Cameron. Still can't wrest the control away, even with all that secret evil he participated in. :(
