Meet the dedicated owner who takes the trouble to walk his beloved pet tortoise for five hours every day.

Maximus moves at a top speed of just one mile an hour during the duo's daily exercise regime around their neighbourhood in Gorton, Manchester.

As odd as it sounds, at least the guy is taking the trouble to look after his pet which is more than some folk do.
