I am a semi-skeptic. But I never rule out the possibility of alien civilizations. Not just lifeforms.

A few moments ago one of my friends posted something on his Facebook page. (FYI he is a gifted artist who worked for several Marvel movies. His latest project is, AFAIK, a game called Titanfall.) It was a story about some South African park that raises lions for hunting. Yeah, you heard that right. They breed and raise lions so that they can let the tourists shoot and kill them.

And that's just the start. I am well aware of American prison system, which is driven by...well, monetary profits. I know that there are increasing number of for-profit prisons in America.

Need I go on? I wonder if I ever posted a similar stuff because my memory is fuzzy. But I can't help asking the same question over and over again. What if our First Contact will be with a vastly superior race that happens to have supreme intellect, higher moral value, and devastating firepower at the same time?

What if these aliens have a strong conviction that pursuit of profit without any ethical supervision is a form of intolerable evil?

People always assume that the ETs will be so morally superior, or indeed that there are Universal moral Values like laws of nature. Why would they be remotely bothered about what went on on a small Planet that was no conceivable threat to anyone? Why should they take it upon themselves to play God? Or would, in fact, they be what we call "God"?

Not " pro-destruction ", although I do feel we are very over populated, and do need " thinning out ". I sometimes do feel like we are a plague, the way we act.

I just had a large chunk of my leg taken out, and some lymphnode biopsies after being diagnosed with melanoma. That is why I support the awareness. It scares the **** out of me, and I now know how it feels.

I do not think anyone should suffer in death, and skin cancer is just one of many things that should not be around.

Does that make sense?

We tend to bundle aliens , civilizations into one category like aggresive, or superior ... If Aliens exist, I bet their are kind ones, dumb ones, angry ones ... the whole range.

I always have a problem with this one; we have a data set of 1 (us) to assess the psychology of an intelligent species and we simply cannot extrapolate from a single data point to guess what others would do.

The Difference between a Republic & a Democracy

This Awareness suggests the Republic is a form of government that protects each individual to its utmost, to have the individual rights protected. the UN forces, if that becomes a necessity. This Awareness indicates it is also a way by which many of the new methods of subjugating and controlling a country can be tested. Thus, there will be many new projects, weapons and methods involved in the action of an invasion if such occurs.

Laws and more Laws: When will it ever end?

This Awareness indicates that it is all part of the New World Order in its effort to smother the freedoms of individuals so that regardless of what entities do, even if they sit and do nothing, they are likely to be breaking a law of some kind, and therefore, with so many laws, anyone can be picked up for some reason or another if that becomes politically desired. In other words, many of these laws are simply being created when desired, not because someone broke a serious law, but because someone should be picked up for some political reason and there is a law that applies that allows him or her to be picked up, to be arrested.
