questionmark Posted August 28, 2013 #1 Share Posted August 28, 2013 A poll of Louisiana Republicans released last week contained some strange news for President Obama: Twenty-nine percent of them said that he was responsible for the poor response to Hurricane Katrina — in 2005. This was slightly more than the 28 percent who said President George W. Bush was to blame. An additional 44 percent thought it over but just weren’t sure. This is a preposterous notion. Everybody knows Barack Obama couldn’t have been responsible for the Katrina response because he was in Indonesia in 2005, learning about his Muslim faith in a madrassa. He had moved to Indonesia directly from his home country of Kenya, stopping in the United States just long enough to fake the moon landing. Sundew Posted August 28, 2013 #5 Share Posted August 28, 2013 If you have ever seen the "man on the street" interviews with Jay Leno or watched Jesse Watters "Watters' World" interviews on FOX you already know that the average citizen can be clueless. But least we think we are so smart, consider this article and see how you do taking an 8th grade test given in 1912: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/08/12/1912-eighth-grade-exam_n_3744163.html Oh, and as I remember the Major of New Orleans let dozens of school buses sit idle in a parking lot that could have shuttled people to safety, so there is plenty of blame to go around regarding Katrina.
Rafterman Posted August 28, 2013 #6 Share Posted August 28, 2013 I realize the author had a political axe to grind, but to be fair, there's plenty of idiocy and misinformed beliefs on both side of the aisle.

HE is the #1 person blamed among people I know who live here. The buck stops with him first and he just passed it on.
Kowalski Posted August 28, 2013 #8 Share Posted August 28, 2013 I don't care for Obama too much, I think he is a corporate shrill for Wall Street, but even I :face palm: at such stupidity. I realize the author had a political axe to grind, but to be fair, there's plenty of idiocy and misinformed beliefs on both side of the aisle. Yeah, there is. Gromdor Posted August 29, 2013 #11 Share Posted August 29, 2013 My personal favorite was, "Obama is Satan because he looks like the guy who played Satan on the History channel." With the rationale of, "God works in mysterious ways and is showing us an omen!". Of course as a disclaimer I must admit that I saw this on facebook.
Heru Posted August 29, 2013 #12 Share Posted August 29, 2013 Who answers polls honestly anyways. I was asked by one once it was about abortion and many other things. Of course the person taking my answers told me to answer for my wife cause it was a poll for women. I BS and told some silly answers until it was about if Casinos banned smoking would you still go... which I replied with no (since im a smoker) If they did make casinos non smoking I would still go........ im there to make money not smoke.
