CyberKen Posted September 10, 2013 Author #10 Share Posted September 10, 2013 (edited) oh not her, cant we build a wall around her? Death Panels have been confirmed by Howard Dean! iPAB....rationing! Independent Payment Advisory Board This is what happens when you don't read the bill. iPAB will stop certain treatments by simply setting rates to levels where no doctor or hospital will perform them. Gov. Sarah Palin Another example: President Bill Clinton or President Richard Nixon BTW, ObamaCare is a train wreck. Even the democrats are running away from it. It is unpopular. Almagest Posted September 11, 2013 #14 Share Posted September 11, 2013 No you don't. That's ridiculous. It's always been Former President Bill Clinton and Former President Richard Nixon. And stop continuing the meme that Sarah Palin's looks do anything to redeem the squawking attention seeker and opportunist that she is. I don't know why anyone on the right likes her when she was a major factor in McCains defeat in 2008 and has done nothing since then except cling desperately to her undeserved fame. Every time she comes up in the news someone has to chime in about how hot she is when it is irrelevant sexist BS.

ninjadude Posted September 12, 2013 #16 Share Posted September 12, 2013 ObamaCare is a train wreck. Even the democrats are running away from it. It is unpopular. Repeating sound bites don't make them true. It is none of those things. Obamacare is working well with the sections implemented. The pre-exchange insurance rates for those using them have been proven to be lower than they are now. You are ignorant of what's really going on.

Probably the best example of an attention wh##e that has existed in some time. and no Obamacare is working. That's why you're scared of it. Oh it's working okay. I know doctors who are scrambling to find new positions because partnerships and contracts that had been stable for a decade and more are no longer being renewed. Change is coming and it isn't going to be for the better. We will all be equal in our poverty and those who had access to good medical care ( MOST Americans) will now be at the whim of some bureaucrat. The rich will be the only ones who get good care now. Just at a time when we need to expand the supply of healthcare workers we are having people leave the business in droves. Yeah..it's working all right. Can't wait to see how it plays out in the next decade.

The time has come to repeal ObamaCare altogether. Give us all a waiver. Congress got a waiver, so should we.
Gunn Posted September 13, 2013 #19 Share Posted September 13, 2013 Naw. Sorry, CyberKen...can't do it. I need this Obamacare. I've been too long without some decent, affordable health insurance and my temporary health issues start out something small, but get worse over time, making me finally haft to go to the ER to take care of a bigger problem that started out as a smaller problem; which could of been taken care of in the first place, if I was able to afford a 100 dollar doctor's office visit and some ungodly exspensive prescription pills, before it got worse. And guess who ends up paying most of the ER bill, btw? Would ya believe it's not me? They have some government poverty programs that pay for it if I can't and I'd imagine the taxpayers are paying for those programs I've never been able to afford any decent health insurance in the past 40 years. Any health insurance I've had in the past made me pay a 500 to 1000 dollar deductible up front, then turn around and charge me anywhere from 50 to 150 dollars monthly for the insurance itself; per individual. Can't afford that with my income. I realized at some point in my life, that if you don't have good health and health insurance, especially with the use of preventive health care...nothing else matters, at least to me. Got to have this affordable health care, I need it badly.

BTW, have you heard about the iPAB? Independent Payment Advisory Board? Also, it is not the role of the U.S. Government to force 20 year olds to buy health insurance.
Gunn Posted September 13, 2013 #21 Share Posted September 13, 2013 ObamaCare has given us a nation of part time workers. We deserve better than that. Naaa...that was all started because of Bush economics. Everybody knows that, CyberKen. Tell Bush that we deserved better than what we got now. The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. I agree, "the many" who "outweigh" being those of us who need affordable health care. BTW, have you heard about the iPAB? Independent Payment Advisory Board? Yeap! Also, it is not the role of the U.S. Government to force 20 year olds to buy health insurance. Yeah? Well you know the selfish part of me doesn't think it's the role of any kind of government to make me buy car insurance, but the reality is, I got to have it, CyberKen. And for good reasons.

Buying a car is optional. American 20 year olds should not be forced to buy health insurance. That sounds like the iron fist of socialism. Before ObamaCare came along, 90% of Americans were satisfied with the current system.
Gunn Posted September 13, 2013 #23 Share Posted September 13, 2013 (edited) Buying a car is optional. Lol. Call me crazy (and I'm pretty sure you will for other reasons), but I just can't seem to deliver large ton loads, several times a day, on foot these days; especially when they' re several miles away. Hmmm...now if I was superman and not...oh I don't know...human, then you might have had a point there, CyberKen. American 20 year olds should not be forced to buy health insurance. That sounds like the iron fist of socialism. *shrugs shoulders* Bound to happen soon are later, CyberKen. We're headed that way anyway. Rome fell, now it's our turn. Nothing lasts forever, you know? The restoration of America has already begun. We can all see that Obama is a failure domestically and internationally. Putin is having a field day making the Obama Administration look like fools. Just ask Jon Stewart. Our future is very bright. We will weather this blip in our history very easily. America tried on a socialist suit and it did not fit.
