Wrong sir! The Can'ts and The Won'ts and The Didn'ts and the Shouldn'ts and all the N'ts combined massively outnumber the CAns, The Wills, The Dids, And the Shoulds by a never changing number of about 98 - 2. For every 100 people, 2 of them are Cans and the other 98 are Can'ts. And as Ford said, and as Troy Aikman loves to quote Ford: Whether you say you can or you can't...you are correct.,

If you have to resort to making ridiculous claims, then our conversation is clearly over.

Some Americans it seems to me have been indoctrinated into making an idol of freedom and privacy, at the expense of other human values such as equality and compassion and public health and safety.

Rejecting a government policy solely because it restricts freedom, for example, is not enough. Balance of conflicting needs is required, not ideological insistence of one over another.

That balance is best measured in dollars, and right now we're as far from balanced as we've ever been. Restricting freedom is at the very least (even if you don't care about freedom) a correlation to going bankrupt. We need not get run over by the monetary/fiscal avalanche headed our way.

Government hanging off the hair of our armpits is not only unaffordable, it's unnecessary. Even in the worst conceivable circumstances. People need to man up and police themselves in the face of a hundred more 9/11s. Every American should be vigilant and defend their country from people who would do them harm. America's been pussified, for lack of a better word. We're turning into a welfare state and a warfare state, and these are the last gasps of a dying republic trying too hard to remain in control of the modern world.

What part of any of that is ridiculous.

Oh, I know...you haven't ever read Napoleon Hill's, Think and Grow Rich.

If you had you would know that only 2% of all Americans have a Positive Mind Set. Only 2% achieve what they want to achieve. The reasons for that are many, but the number one reason successful people are successful is because they have purposesfully removed the n't from their volcabulary and from their mind.

It is really very simple Tiggs...Do you remember the story of the Little Train That Could? I think I can, I think I can, I think I can...I knew I could, I knew I could, I knew I could....

Great points all, except having a positive mindset =/= achieving what you want to achieve. I agree it's a vital component though, but the percentage of Americans with a positive mindset is far higher than 2.

I read that book a long time ago...must have given it away; if I could find it I'd read it again.

The liberals hate the 2% Achievers. That's why they make an effort to - punish success - in nations like Greece.

Andrea Tantaros said her father moved to the USA because they kept punishing success in Greece.

The socialists / communists want us to be mindless drones. The last thing on our minds should be - American Exceptionalism -.

We have the Achievers and we have Selfish Politicians who all of a sudden want to Delay ObamaCare 1 Year.

They were mocked last night on Fox News. " I think those 10 Democrat U.S. Senators are terrorists, suicide bombers and hostage takers because

they want to change ObamaCare which is the Law of the Land."

Turn around is fair play.

In a place where everyone is poor, everyone is poor and will stay that way. If a few become wealthy, the rest can either resent and confiscate the wealth, in which case everyone goes back to being poor, or they can study it and seek to become wealthy themselves.

The biggest problem is the perceived unfairness of some being extremely wealthy and others barely surviving. Trying to be fair is a good way to have bad policy, but rich people will nevertheless sleep better in their beds if they are aware and act to balance things,

I doubt Mr. Churchill had any idea of what it is that brings about socialism. It is an ideology that has almost nothing to do with envy and mostly to do with upper-class intellectual snobbish political theory. The envious merely steal.

My Opinion: Winston Churchill has more credibility than you.

Just look at Cuba: Fair Shared Misery with just a few Elitists.

Good point, except you don't get them any more elitist than Castro. Churchill didn't understand the politics of the left. That's why he couldn't win elections in peacetime. He thought in class terms probably more than even Marx himself.

I think Winston Churchill understood the Secular Progressives very well.

When the going got rough, they put Winston Churchill in charge during World War 2.

Of course, Mr. Churchill got a little help from General Eisenhower and General George Patton.

So 98% of the country are essentially to blame for their own position within society, and hence, worthless?

That doesn't sound at all like propaganda from the top of the pyramid.

The top 20% in America are doing really well. :tu:

Well, as long as it's only 80% of the country getting shafted, then everything's all right, I guess.

The Upper Middle Class are doing okay. That will improve soon.

The poor however are getting poorer.

They got their hours scaled back from 40 hours per week to 30 hours per week. Today we are a Nation of Part Time workers.

- Ripple Effects of ObamaCare -

That could be used as a pretty good tool to - sell - moving the Canadian Public Option down here to the USA.

Possible Carrot and Stick Floated by the White House : " Okay, if you accept the Single Payer System from Canada here in the USA,

then the 30 hour requirement disappears !!! Oh and almost forgot, the Public Option is really easy and FREE !!!!!!!!"

"What do ya say America ?!!!"

"Yes or No ?"

The winds of change are upon us. Under NEW leadership in the White House, the poor will get richer.

Well now, there is a thought.

BTW, Senator Ted Cruz hit a Home Run in Iowa. The Republican Party is energized ! - He gave the crowd a Path to Victory. -

Also, more bad news from the Democrats:

Democrat Memo: Make no mistake: Senator Ted Cruz is leading the Republican Party.

Candidates want to be him. Incumbents are afraid of him.

The Republican Party is energized by him.

I think i hear the Fat Lady Singing. It's over for the democrats. They are on defense now. :tu:

It's called Eye Candy.

Remember the 1 st Netscape Browser? You had to pay for it.

Then Microsoft bought the Spy Glass Browser for $2 Million and then gave it away for free. - Internet Explorer -
