4 posts in this topic

A major archaeological dig in Wiltshire has unearthed evidence of frogs legs being eaten in Britain, 8,000 years before France, it has been claimed.

The team, which consists of Mesolithic period experts, also found other types of food including salmon and nuts.

I imagine that early humans ate whatever they could catch, no matter where they were... The first human who ever ate a frog was probably the first human who ever got really hungry and was by a marsh...

it's just a question of familiarity. people love to eat lobster now, but imagine how brave the first person had to be to say "yeah, i think i'll just chow down on this hideous sea insect".

i guess the gist of the article is that neolithic people ate a varied diet?
