Cheaters get high on their dishonesty

4 posts in this topic

Liars and cheats may deceive more for the "emotional high" of getting away with their dishonesty than for any financial reward, new research has suggested.

Psychologists have identified an emotion they describe as "cheaters high" in people who have behaved dishonestly.

They claim the positive buzz that comes from this offsets any bad feelings they may have about their behaviour and can often be motivation in itself for people to cheat.

Can be addictive. And nice to know it might not always be personal.

I do not like cheaters.

If they want to get high they can smoke weed.

Cheating is not nice at all.
