seeder Posted November 20, 2013 #1 Share Posted November 20, 2013 If you come looking for alien dna, forget it, Ancient Humans Had Sex With Mystery Species, New DNA Study Shows The ancient genomes, one from a Neanderthal and one from a different archaic human group, the Denisovans, were presented on 18 November at a meeting at the Royal Society in London. They suggest that interbreeding went on between the members of several ancient human-like groups living in Europe and Asia more than 30,000 years ago, including an as-yet unknown human ancestor from Asia. “What it begins to suggest is that we’re looking at a ‘Lord of the Rings’-type world — that there were many hominid populations,” says Mark Thomas, an evolutionary geneticist at University College London who was at the meeting but was not involved in the work. And some GREAT PICS to be seen on the slideshow at the foot of the link http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/11/19/ancient-humans-sex-mystery-species-dna_n_4302031.html
Wickian Posted November 20, 2013 #2 Share Posted November 20, 2013 Imagine today's diversity of human races being hit with a devastating population reduction, and then the survivors interbreeding into a single race and you probably have what happened in the last ice-age.
Piney Posted November 20, 2013 #3 Share Posted November 20, 2013 Certain American Indians, with the exception of Dene' (Athapascans) and Eskimos have "shovel incisors". A trait only found in certain Southeast Asian species of Homo erectus. I often thought we might of mixed with them in our migrations.
krypter3 Posted November 20, 2013 #4 Share Posted November 20, 2013 So we've discovered another Humanoid species that could have developed if the cards fell in their favour. And people say that aliens don't exist, ha

Race is a construct as all humans today belong to the same species. While the above isn't remotely like having Hss, Neanderthals, Denisovans, some unnamed Asian species, relict versions of Heidelbergensis or Erectus, early Homo sapiens (Omo 1 and Omo 2), an unnamed species in Africa predating OOA (Out of Africa) , whatever species is responsible for the Gawiss Cranium and Homo sapiens idaltu all living at or near the same time. cormac

Dragonwind Posted November 26, 2013 #9 Share Posted November 26, 2013 Anthropologist also suspect african populations also interbred with a yet unknown archaic hominid in Africa. The human tree is more like veins of water...sometimes diverging but often converging later.

Dragonwind Posted November 29, 2013 #14 Share Posted November 29, 2013 (edited) archaic human group = aliens, always and of course Seems it was the other way around... pesky homo sapien sapiens were illegal aliens moving into northern hemispheres and asia. Archaic multiculturalism and illegal immigration with no visas, work permits or having to work as a cleaning lady for minimum wage!
