SereneScene Posted November 25, 2013 #1 Share Posted November 25, 2013 The people in power right now who control all the wealth and tell the other people how things should be done have already won, they have control over us and use various things to keep us down, whether it be war, media, false pride, and a million other things they make us worry about other things and not look at the big picture. The big picture is so simple though, there is a SMALL percentage of people who have control of basically the world and the majority seems to not give a ****, are people that stupid? gullible? naive? No, I think these people are just incredibly smart and consider tons of options and probably have a attitude of a human herding sheep, just that it takes a lot more effort. Sure there some of us that can see what is happening and arent complete mindless sheep but what can we do? How do a few butterflies teach the other caterpillars to evolve? In a sense I find it fascinating and even admire in a sick way what these people have accomplished, its truly quite a feat if you ask me, its like a few rabbits making a bunch of wolves their slaves; but wait that IS quite a feat, the difference here? Its just a few wolves making a bunch of other wolves their slaves, is that impressive or just nature?

_Only Posted November 25, 2013 #3 Share Posted November 25, 2013 I don't know about the ratio of incredibly smart people to those who control wealth exactly, but if you want to change the way things are run, you would have to topple the acting leader of the world in the way it has been built: money. I find it disturbingly fascinating that we had created a system of trading precious goods as payment for other goods/services, narrowing it to precious jewels and minerals ..yadda, yadda, yadda.. eventually shifting to promissory notes of precious minerals, and finally progressing into the economy we are heading towards today (and in many ways have already arrived at), which is essentially the exchange of electronic numbers tracked, acting as imaginary precious goods, passing back and forth when in reality it has no value, since it was made up by a bank somewhere who decides how money is valued, and supplies governments and banks with these electronic, though imaginary, precious goods, and charges those entities interest on the imaginary funds, which logically can never possibly be paid back, unless (hypothetically) the entities miraculously find some new source of precious goods, or the great Bank who supplies the pretend income decides to call in some favors for other supplies and/or services the country/corporation has to offer. Now that I think about it, there must be some smart people to pull off that last part of the story of evolution of U.S. and in turn, the world's economic outcome. Well, either that, or Fort Knox has the world's largest underground farm of golden egg laying chickens. So I don't know where that leaves poor idiots like me in inciting positive socioeconomic change. Maybe I should buy land in Kansas, and get working on egg to gold technology.

Nighthawk9653 Posted November 25, 2013 #5 Share Posted November 25, 2013 I think it's more because people think they're too small to do anything, because they think they're the only ones who feel this way, so they don't say anything and forget about it. But if all of us who wanted to do something, actually did it, we could all accomplish a lot. We shouldn't be afraid of the leaders; the leaders should be afraid of their people.
Mr.United_Nations Posted November 25, 2013 #6 Share Posted November 25, 2013 disagree i think being smart will help other people overcoming problems and giving advice and support and ideas and it encourages people. Its better to be smart at the top than be idiots screwing around going LA LA LA LALA LA!

david icke is right Posted November 25, 2013 #10 Share Posted November 25, 2013 http://news.sky.com/story/1173070/student-loans-ministers-to-unveil-900m-sale Student Loans: Ministers To Unveil £900m Sale The loans were made to students who enrolled at universities in the 1990s Email By Mark Kleinman, City Editor Nearly £1bn of student loans will be offloaded by the Government to a private debt collection agency today in a move likely to stoke renewed controversy over coalition sell-offs. Sky News can reveal that ministers will announce to the London Stock Exchange that the Government has agreed a deal to privatise a £900m portfolio of loans made to students who were enrolled at universities during the 1990s. The disposal, to a debt recovery specialist, will be for a fraction of the debts' face value, and encompasses mortgage-style loans that are the last of their kind still in public ownership. The smart people, oh yes with their saturn/satan symbol on there heads. They won alright, they have won a lifetime of debt and knowledge that will go nowhere in life. Yaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy smart people I wish I were you.

thyra Posted November 25, 2013 #13 Share Posted November 25, 2013 (edited) Smart people dont keep other people down. this is what happens in hell. you know in hell people trying to climb up and out is pulled down by others who are trying to do the same. Anyway, the idea of the original poster gets its bases from the assumption that we are controlled and that this done by some deliberate and evil mined few. I never bought this idea and wont ever. This is just life and some are born into richer families or have better luck or better people to work with in their financial investments than others. Besides, most of the people on the so called top are not happier or healthier than rest of the people who are not there. aquatus1 Posted November 25, 2013 #22 Share Posted November 25, 2013 It is a curious habit, to mentally assign "supremacy" to a behavior best described as "laziness", publicly announce"conspiracy" when referring to daily mundane "politics", and smugly think of "superior" to what is essentially "myself".

Apparently you are if you cant see what is going on in the world, people arent claiming some grand conspiracy or acting like they are "in the know", the leaders are doing these things right in front of us and we simply dont care, no one is acting like an elitist. It is quite public what private banks do with their loaning to the government plus interest, then we get taxed to pay them back, lol

Im not saying this is some grand illuminati evil satan scheme, I do think that people in the higher ups really dont give a **** about your average joe though, as long as your average citizen is preoccupied with video games, sports, reality tv, fashion and all the other materialistic things they wont worry about whats happening in the world. That allows them to continue whatever war, whatever scheme they are doing to gain money, power or keep control.
