What a dedicated team to take on 58 pups, wow just the thought is exhausting me. I wish them all the best in their efforts and hope all their charges come through fit and healthy for a return to the sea.

We have some scientific institutes here in Germany those take care of these motherless sweet little suckers (in German Heuler = howl, howler) and some adult seals those cannot survive in the wilderness due to disability. The little ones stay there untill they are able to survive outside and get returned to the wild then. It´s is real fun to visite these institutes, I have done that a lot of times.
