Seeking lost tombs in the Valley of the Kings

A new radar survey is hoping to find the locations of several tombs that have yet to be discovered.

Below the shifting sands of Egypt's enigmatic Valley of the Kings lies a host of tombs thousands of years old, yet despite their best efforts archaeologists have yet to uncover the whereabouts of all of them.

When was the last time a tomb was found in the Valley of the Kings? This will be very exciting if they find anything.

Two were found in '08. A detailed sonar mapping probably will find a few more. Doubt there'll be anything to surpass the finding of Tut though.

It would be interesting though if Egytologists came upon the tomb of Smenkhkare.
