Rolci Posted January 24, 2014 #2 Share Posted January 24, 2014 Another doomed species destined to end up in Japanese shops labelled as whale meat. When you've watched a few shocking documentaries such as 'The Cove' about what they do to dolphins and the cover-up surrounding it, the world is never quite the same place again. They don't hunt Brazilian river dolphins, mate. They go for the not endangered bottlenose dolphin.

Ralaman Posted January 24, 2014 #5 Share Posted January 24, 2014 Don't tell Japan. They will just try to hunt it down and beat it to death, and all in the name of tradition.

I'm not sure how old that particular site is, but the pics used are at least as old as 2008. It's not calderon dolphins, it's pilot wales. The people that live there do eat what they kill, it's not killing for fun. Yes, that is a direct CCP from the other dolphin thread going on right now. +DieChecker Posted January 25, 2014 #10 Share Posted January 25, 2014 I hope they are able to protect these distictive species of dolphin. But, according to Crypto-critter skeptics, a population of 1000 means that they don't exist.
