New river dolphin species discovered

Scientists in Brazil have identified the first new species of river dolphin in almost 100 years.

Considered to be some of the world's rarest animals, river dolphins can be found in a small number of rivers and estuaries across South America and Asia.

They don't hunt Brazilian river dolphins, mate. They go for the not endangered bottlenose dolphin.

I'm not sure how old that particular site is, but the pics used are at least as old as 2008. It's not calderon dolphins, it's pilot wales. The people that live there do eat what they kill, it's not killing for fun.

I hope they are able to protect these distictive species of dolphin.

But, according to Crypto-critter skeptics, a population of 1000 means that they don't exist.
