+and-then Posted April 15, 2014 #53 Share Posted April 15, 2014 I believe that the emphasis on the lunar eclipses are interesting and I do not discount that some great turmoil in Israel's destiny may be shortly forthcoming but the actual mention of the blood moons is not so direct: Acts 2:20 - The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord. So I believe this will happen before the day of the Lord but we have no idea WHEN - a year? a decade? the day prior? And the "Day of the Lord" is a specific time of ultimate turmoil and horror on this planet. These signs could also be the result of atmospherics caused by a nuclear war as well. Nuclear accidents have certainly been down-played, as though a week of news coverage wraps it up. No predictions here. Did you see the blood moon? I got up at 2:10 a.m. and put on a night shirt. Barefoot, I went out into the unseasonably cold night. The moon, ~1/4 shadowed and somewhat red, did look strange. Nearby stars looked brighter. I woke my husband, "If you want to see the eclipse, this is your chance." He got up and watched until the moon was at its darkest. Friends/relatives of ours sat up/partied all night. They said the moon remained red for a long time afterward. Since many before us had no chance to witness such a thing in their lifetimes, I figured: why not enjoy the novelty it? Peace be with you.
