Brazilian Werewolf

30 posts in this topic

Security cams seem to have been capturing more cryptids, UFOs, aliens, and ghosts than shoplifters these days. Here, one in Brazil claims to have caught a werewolf.

The grainy 44-second clip emerged on YouTube after a spate of sightings of the terrifying cryptid in the town ofSão Gonçalo de Campos, near Feira de Santana, in the state of Bahia.

I am not certain what lupine features are being claimed in this video as the creature has no obvious snout, or tail, its appendages are of obvious different length and it does not move in anything resembling a dog-like fashion. If I had to describe its motion it would be that of a human on all fours, and to my eye is quite obviously an escaped chimpanzee. However, chimpanzees can be very dangerous, so there would seem no harm in establishing a curfew.

Yay, Poor grainy evidence.

It Looks like a guy in black clothes wearing a mask, the arms are too human and even the movement is not like a monkey because his hands on flat on the floor not knuckled down.

I'm with Brian, it's a prankster.

btw... Is that a noose hanging from that branch? A swing? (I'm just curious and my specs & eyesight are hopeless)

Well, to me it looked like a skinny armed dude wearing a cheap monkey suit purchased from K-Mart.

Monkey swing is my opinion, the camera set up in a monkey enclosure?

Interesting how the creature knows to stay right on the edge of the lighted area, but then suddenly we get a closeup in full light. So clearly at some point the creature walked into the center of the area.

Why edit the video like that?

Clearly there is a language barrier.

Brazilian for "out of focus primate" translated to "werewolf".

This crap happens all the time. ALL THE TIME!

If you watch the video at 40 seconds, you can make out the string holding up his mask.

Here is my analysis.

1. The Camera.

A few people said this was a monkey in a zoo. This has a few flaws. Brazil has a policy where Apes/Chimps meant to bring the apes to their enclosure when the zoo is closed. If they recorded in a zoo, that means some one would had to download, smuggle it out.

2. Movement.

Going by the utter blurry image quality, the movement is not of a wolf or an monkey. The image below shows a center show of the "werewolf" if you look down that is his/her hand. This is not how an ape/chimp move. they move on their knuckles, not on their flat hands.

3. Body Structure.

let's get a close look of the moving being.

-Look at the arms, They are too thick. Also there are no visible hairs sticking out.

-His knees are more human. They are not thin but thick.

-His face... is a mask. Due to the poor quality of the picture I am going out on a limb and say that it is either a horse mask or a wolf mask.

--Who is the guy standing in pic #1 with arm bent like he's holding a camera to his face? It doesn't look like a reflection to me, but that he is standing inside the pic zone.

--The "knee" in the second pic doesn't look like the rest of the "animal's" body covering. I think the costume stops at the waist.
