Very odd noise, witnessed by my dog.

Literally just 2-minutes ago, I heard a female voice say "Incoming" Teen or young adult voice.

Our dog heard it too and started barking.

I looked outside and no-one is there. Our TV is not on.

I woke-up my female roomate(she works at night) to ask if she had said anything to me. She say's no.

This time of the day, 2:00 pm is not the time for the bus to drop-off children.

Freaked me out and got our dog upset.

Maybe kids just running around and playing?

I suspect kids, or an adult, as "Incoming" makes no sense

Kids throwing something (ball/frisbee) to one another perhaps? By the time you went to have a look/see they could have run off...just an idea.

Yeah. Likely so. Thanks.

Could it have been your roomate talking in her sleep? were you both in the same room at the time?

That is possible. She has been known(by me) to talk in her sleep from a weird dream. That's why I woke her up and asked her.

But, I suppose those types of memories may or may not exist upon sudden waking.

Not to make a big deal about this, but our dog was not barking in her direction.

So perhaps, like the Mod, Lilly, said, an outside event involving children playing.

Just a thought....it might be worth checking your email.

Keep us posted if something happens that may relate to what you heard. Use your gut instincts.

Incoming? Hmm. That's a noodle scratcher.

Yeah, e-mail, text notification sounds plausible.

Disembodied voice alerting you that Elvis has entered the building?

Yeah. 'Incomming" just doesn't sound like something "paranormal" would say.

I think you guys are right... kids playing and moving too fast for me to catch them, or, my roomate speaking from a dream.

I was resting on the living room couch, and our dog was not barking in my roomates direction, rather towards the front door.

Kid's playing. Yeah, I'll go with that, given the dogs direction of barking.

For the email part, it has no vocal notification.

I think, through Lilly and other's, this event is solved.

Thanks...

Curious though, is this the first time anything like this has happened where you currently live?

Can you please have your dog attest to this in writing, have it notarized and mail us each a copy?

No. My female roomate claims the other night that there was "pounding" at the remaining bed of her feet.

I can not attest to this at all, as we do not sleep together.

But, I will say say that I have NOT experienced anything paranormal in our home. Likely just dream "trauma" She goes through that at times.

I disagree that it's not something a spirit would say. Spirits can say all kinds of things, even cuss and use modern lingo.

If you want my opinion going by all what you've described, this is a haunting.

Let's assume it was a spirit. The word "incoming" doesn't have to refer to emails. It often means to enter somewhere. Perhaps the spirit was saying it had arrived there in the room?

What's the history of your place?

Pallidin: Well, they both can be easily attributed to common occurrences but then again theres always two sides to every story.

Keep your ears and eyes open and keep us informed, please.
