"A Chinese man can finally breathe easy after doctors removed a whistle that was stuck in his body for 15 years. Liu Yougang breathed a sigh of relief after doctors finally located and removed the instrument he swallowed as a child.

The 23-year-old’s act of madness had led to problems with his breathing and resulted in him making whistle sounds as he slept, according to the Chengdu Commercial Daily."

15 years is an insane amount of time to have left it for. I was wondering why he left it so long but it says " the doctor did not find it in his body." Still he took a long time to ask about it again.

The whistle is also a plastic one, it says. It's good they got it out...at last.

Well good for him. My kids never swallowed anything, but my son did put sixlets up his nose once.

(sixlets are small round chocolate candies with a hard shell. think m and m's but smaller)
