BiffSplitkins Posted March 26, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 26, 2014 (edited) A bill that would let Florida schoolchildren bite Pop-Tarts into the shape of guns has cleared the state House of Representatives and is making its way through the Senate. The so-called "Pop-Tart bill," formally known as HB 7029, would keep schoolchildren from being penalized for simulating firearms with their fingers, a piece of paper or a pastry, the Orlando Sentinel reported. Taun Posted March 26, 2014 #2 Share Posted March 26, 2014 The sad part is apparently we DO need laws like this, to help rein in the out of control - lack of commons sense - mind set that punishes kids for being kids...
Michelle Posted March 26, 2014 #3 Share Posted March 26, 2014 We need a bill for this???? For the same reason we have so many stupid warning labels on products. There is a precedent with too many people unable to use common sense.

Michelle Posted March 26, 2014 #5 Share Posted March 26, 2014 I say we just take all those labels off and let nature weed out the stupid people. Sometimes it does seem like a waste of time to try and save some people from themselves. If they would only leave others out of it by not suing or causing harm with collateral damage.
