Still Waters Posted April 24, 2014 #1 Share Posted April 24, 2014 Nearly 1,000 years ago a giant ball of butter was buried in an Irish bog. It may have been left there to preserve it for the leaner months, but whoever buried it, never returned. It lay undisturbed until 1980 when Jack Shannon and his sons went out to cut turf in the bog at Carrownagiltagh, near Tempo in County Fermanagh. http://www.bbc.co.uk...reland-27143838

toast Posted April 25, 2014 #5 Share Posted April 25, 2014 (edited) Do you frequently enjoy raining on the parades of others? I`ve read paradise on the first view instead parades. But Do you frequently enjoy raining on the paradise of others sounds nice too, it sounds like asian poetry somehow. Lilly Posted April 25, 2014 #6 Share Posted April 25, 2014 ... it sounds like asian poetry somehow. Well thank you. In return I will refrain from making any lame jokes about toast and butter balls!
Keel M. Posted April 26, 2014 #7 Share Posted April 26, 2014 Do you frequently enjoy raining on the parades of others? This is the second thread he's made this type of comment on, so I'd have to say the answer is an unequivocal 'yes'.
Imaginarynumber1 Posted April 27, 2014 #8 Share Posted April 27, 2014 This is the second thread he's made this type of comment on, so I'd have to say the answer is an unequivocal 'yes'. I imagine the poster as an old curmudgeon that just sits at their computer and scoffs at everything and then makes angry posts that are sometimes quite humorous.
