Over 60 rats caught in family's house

8 posts in this topic

A County Down father-of-four has appealed for help after catching more than 60 rats in his home over the past four years.

Sé McKendry said his Crossgar house has been overrun by rodents, some he described as "giant rats".

He added that the Housing Executive, who own the house, have not been able to figure out how the rats are getting in.

They'll always find a way... might be more of a question where do they come from and why do they keep coming to his place instead of somewhere else.

Oh, this seems to have been going on for a while so the rats've grown accustomed to the place and see it as their territory. That's how they seem to behave too. Warm home is inviting to them, they dont wanna give up living there, and believe me, rats can be very stubborn and brave no matter who they're up against. If we humans faced something 80 times our size trying to kill us we'd **** our pants in comparison.
