F3SS Posted June 4, 2014 #1 Share Posted June 4, 2014 (edited) I found this seemingly comprehensive political affiliation test. It doesn't appear to force in a cut and dry stance like many of these quizzes I've seen. The questions and choices are numerous. We argue here so much about where we stand and who we are. Take this test and share your results. I'm posting a screen shot because of how it breaks down the details. You should too. It'll help keep you from a lot of explanation. Bear in mind that I left the level of importance next to the questions (you'll see) at default. Actually, I hit submit to soon but intended to go back to each question and choose my importance grade. I hit the back button but all my choices were gone and it's a long quiz so you know how it goes. Anyhow, here's the link and here's my results. Let's see if you are what you say you are. Pay attention as each question has more than a yes/no choice and each category has a drop down with more questions. I answered them all, most with more than a yes/no. http://www.isidewith.com/political-quiz#more Edited June 4, 2014 by F3SS

redhen Posted June 5, 2014 #4 Share Posted June 5, 2014 Got a blank page with Firefox and a HTTP 500 Internal Server Error with IE. Server's probably under a heavy load.
F3SS Posted June 5, 2014 Author #5 Share Posted June 5, 2014 Sorry guys. I was on an iPad and had no such issues. The threads only got 54 views. It's not like I posted this on the AOL's homepage. Couldn't understand a heavy load.
+DieChecker Posted June 5, 2014 #6 Share Posted June 5, 2014 Yeah. I got white page also. Must be a mobile site, or something. I tried tweeking my settings to get it to show, but no dice.
F3SS Posted June 5, 2014 Author #7 Share Posted June 5, 2014 (edited) I simply googled political affiliation test and it was the first result. Doesn't appear to be a mobile site. Oh well, if it isn't working... Ah ha! I figured it out I think. This should be the link. http://www.isidewith.com/political-quiz I went to the page freshly. The link I copied is from when I took the test and hit the back button. Mods, could you fix the link in the op please? Sorry to those who tried. I hope you try again and share the results. And if it don't work this time we will destroy the thread! Edited June 5, 2014 by F3SS

Frank Merton Posted June 5, 2014 #10 Share Posted June 5, 2014 It told me it was matching my results to the parties and then went white. Could it be I only responded to the three and didn't go down to further questions?

F3SS Posted June 5, 2014 Author #12 Share Posted June 5, 2014 It seems I'm the only one with their political profile plastered up for the world to see. Now I feel like the only one who jumped in the pool on the count of three.
F3SS Posted June 5, 2014 Author #13 Share Posted June 5, 2014 (edited) My last suggestion. Just type in the website in your browser, isidewith.com, and click the tab that says quiz. Rather than copy it from my tablet which might be causing the issue for some reason even though I do that all the time. That all I got. Frank, I don't think not answering questions is the issue. Good night, hope to see lots of positive results tomorrow! Edited June 5, 2014 by F3SS

spartan max2 Posted June 5, 2014 #15 Share Posted June 5, 2014 I remember one political test thing I took once that made me laugh. It told me something like I agree with 75% of libertarian views, 72% republican and 69% democrat. It made me laugh because apparently according to the test I should be happy when any party wins

F3SS Posted June 5, 2014 Author #19 Share Posted June 5, 2014 And here i was thinking you were some kind of far left socialist democrat....I'm shocked That was funny. I like it because of how it breaks down your leaning by specific category. I get called a POS liberal on a daily basis... Who says that? You do look to have a heavy democrat/socialist lean. So those are apparently the issues that being out those labels. I got Libertarian. Just 100% across the board?

I like to argue against the extreme views. Great quiz though.
Frank Merton Posted June 5, 2014 #21 Share Posted June 5, 2014 I think this may be a bit of disinformation to make some people think they are what they aren't. Just my healthy skepticism here but I know how politicians sometimes try to manipulate people.

Wickian Posted June 5, 2014 #23 Share Posted June 5, 2014 (edited) Alright, got it working. It says I'm a Centrist who slightly leans Republican/Libertarian. Makes sense if you take political positions, give them numerical values then give an average I guess. Edit for more info: R: 82% L: 72% D: 61% G: 53% S: 13% Apparently there is very little socialism in my blood. 1950's-1970's America would be proud I guess. Bama13 Posted June 5, 2014 #24 Share Posted June 5, 2014 (edited) I took the test without any problems. According to this test I side with: Libertarians 83%, Republicans 78%, Democrats 41%, Green Party 27%, and Socialists 15%. Which only shows me that Libertarians are wrong on 17%, Republicans 22%, Democrats 59%, Greens 73%, and Socialists 85% of their beliefs! Wickian Posted June 5, 2014 #25 Share Posted June 5, 2014 I don't know guys. Go buy an iPad I guess. I refuse because I hate everything about Apple, but I got it working. I figured they'd archive everyone's submissions, so I just saved my ticket number and went back to the /processing/####### page and let it load again a few times.
