'Hero' dog alerts deaf boy to house fire

6 posts in this topic

A pit bull named Ace is being hailed as a hero for licking the face of a sleeping, deaf 13-year-old Indianapolis boy to alert him that the house was on fire.

Indianapolis Fire Department Capt. Rita Reith says Nick Lamb was home alone and sleeping without his hearing aids when the fire began Wednesday.

I scorched the tempering off a caste iron pot by walking away and forgetting about it.

My cat walked into the room I was in and proceeded to yowl at me.

At first I was overcome by her new behavior....speaking loudly while making eye contact.

Then I realized she was informing me that "you just killed us. Great".

You have not lived until you have had a cat pass moral judgement upon you.

No you wouldn't because they are not made to have on when sleeping. You would be woken up by feed back every time you rolled over.

Hopefully this story will help curve a little bit of people's perception that not all pit bulls are vicious.
