Figures revealed by a Freedom of Information (FOI) request show the force was contacted about 15 ghosts, 55 witches, and a pair of zombies.

Birmingham East had the most reported paranormal activity, with the least in Birmingham South.

Location and number of reports

  • Birmingham East: 11
  • Birmingham North: 9
  • Birmingham South: 1
  • Birmingham West: 8
  • Coventry : 9
  • Dudley: 3
  • Solihull: 5
  • Sandwell : 7
  • Walsall: 8
  • Wolverhampton: 10

The figures show a year-on-year increase in reported incidents.

There were 17 in 2011, 24 in 2012 and 30 in 2013.

Although all other categories were reported every year, zombies only made an appearance in 2013.

I don't know what's worse, the people calling in pranks or the people that actually believe that witches wear the traditional black garb and pointy hat.

Figures revealed by a Freedom of Information (FOI) request

http://www.bbc.com/n...ngland-28415527 request

Why would any one want to request this, its all over You Tube and many even get on UM.

Maybe I will add up the number of paranormal activity "experience" threads on here. If anyone requires the information on my results, please follow the following:

3. How to make an FOI request

Contact an organisation in writing to make a Freedom of Information (FOI) request. This can be by:

  • letter
  • email
  • fax

(PM me, my organisation is - tidy except when can`t be bothered. )

What to include

You should give:

  • your name (not needed if requesting environmental information)
  • a contact address
  • a detailed description of the information you want - eg you might want all information held on a subject, or just a summary

(please include, credit card number and security code, and your pin)

You can ask for information in a particular format, eg:

  • paper or electronic copies of information
  • audio format
  • large print

(messages from Reg The Suit is also available)

When you’ll get a response

You should get the information within 20 working days. The organisation will tell you when to expect the information if they need more time.

(20 days, give or take a year or two)

Costs

Most requests are free but you might be asked to pay a small amount for photocopies or postage. You’ll be told by the organisation if you have to pay anything.

( 19.50 per photocopy and 58.50 for postage...UK fees only, anywhere else, double it.)

19.50 per photocopy? is it printed on gold?

58.50 postage should come hand delivered to a place and time of your choosing.
