I've been to that actual church many times in my life to see with my own eyes St. Oliver Plunkett's preserved head (though I've not been there in recent years). I was going to post the story when I read it recently online, but Brian beat me to it.The saint in question, Oliver Plunkett, has a shrine in the church. It contains his freaky shrunken preserved head in a glass case. It's utterly bizarre and grotesque and weird. Duck33 Posted July 24, 2014 #8 Share Posted July 24, 2014 Wouldn't appearing as a ghost be somewhat flying in the face of the Church position on all things paranormal..."A Saint should know better!" to quote Treebeard.
