Archaeologists have uncovered more than 10,000 artefact's in the mausoleum of King Liu Fei.

Despite being looted several times in the past, the 2100-year-old mausoleum, which consists of several tombs and chambers, still contained a significant quantity of its original items when it was excavated between 2009 and 2011.

Im amazed by this, because, it was excavated in 2009... and been looted, its 2100 years old! Can you imagine being the indivual to excavate something like that?? but its been looted, by whom i wonder? what did they take and where will it go?

That only applies elsewhere in the world ... in mainland China ~ that does not hold ~ especially nowadays ...

From what I read, official corruption is endemic there. Freelancers without 'friends' may be discouraged, though.

You are not keeping up to date with the situation ~ even if the looters gets their hands on anything there is nowhere for them to get a sale ... unless sneaking it out of the Country ~ tantamount to 'treason' and smuggling of 'National Treasures' basically ends up with a bullet behind the head ... hanging is deemed too good for the likes of them ~

~ National Pride is quite on the ascent in Mainland China lately ~ in every 'Historical' sense of the word ~
