Serpent Mound as Old as Aristotle

Estimates of the age of the earthwork are now radically revised as the result of a new radiocarbon analysis, suggesting that the mound is about 1,400 years older than conventionally thought. The new date of construction is estimated at approximately 321 BCE, one year after the death of Aristotle in Greece.

One of the few effigy mounds left in North America. There were once dozens if not hundreds. All plowed under or buried under our cities save for a few. A reminder of cultures that existed prior to the Great Dying, when the popuation of North America numbered in the millions.

this is interesting. the article also highlights some of the unfortunate beliefs that have built up around the mound; namely the various mystical or alien related theories about its construction. those have got to go, and hopefully this will help
